An avid creative at heart, I believe creative expression is a vital part of living a joyful life. We all are creative even if we don't know it yet! I embrace creativity in all forms and this has led to my passion for mixed media art. I received my Bachelor's of Fine Art's in Photography as Arizona State University and currently teach full time.

I work primarily with acrylic paint, collage and found materials. I enjoy meshing mediums to express my unique vision and finding new techniques to realize my ideas. In the past, I have worked with photography, printmaking, fibers, and ceramics.

My inspiration comes from life itself. My personal experiences and perceptions shape my art making. I focus heavily on the concepts behind my work, as this is just as important as the art itself. I find great inspiration from flowers and nature. Floriography is a keen interest of mine. I also am inspired by found objects, poetry and folklore.
